Neals Maxilin’s career in healthcare didn’t begin at a desk reviewing spreadsheets. It began at a community hospital serving low-income patients — verifying insurance, completing ACA applications, registering patients, and learning firsthand how billing mistakes affect real people’s access to care.
That hands-on foundation — understanding both the human and financial sides of healthcare — became the backbone of everything that followed. Over the next decade, Neals rose through billing roles across private practices, multi-location groups, and Fortune 500 hospital systems, earning promotions to Billing Manager, Team Lead, and Subject Matter Expert along the way.
